Just shoot me, please

Browser locked up. Lost 1400 or so words and all the edits I made to my NaNoWriMo novel today. Just shoot me.

If anyone can tell me what’s the deal with Safari and why it just keeps locking up on me—and how I can make it never happen again, I’ll give you an autographed copy of one of my novels.

Wish I had known that wordpress pages don’t save draft copy the same way as post pages.

Go ahead. Just shoot me.

  1. Ahh, a challenge. What OS are you running? I don’t know much about Apple, but I love searching for solutions. Also, what version of Safari?

Did this happen when you were posting a link or an image? My browser froze on me on WP once when I was trying to use their new Post method. I never tried it again.

    • I have a 27-inch iMac, running OS 10.8.2 and Safari 6.0.1. While I had WP open in one tab, I was actually on a taleo job site, filling out stuff when it locked up. But it’s happened about 4 or 5 other times, never in the same place. Sometimes when a new page is loading, but always (it seems) when something interactive is going on.

Tell me what you think. Seriously.
